There is something to be said for a motherboard that offers absolutely no challenges to set up.  Motherboards with personality can be interesting, but for a new user or just someone who doesn’t want to spend time tweaking everything, plug and play can be very nice.  That was the experience that The FPS Review had with MSI’s X670E GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard; everything just worked first try!
If you are looking for a board that is easy to set up, offers PCIe 5.0 for your GPU, four M.2 slots, proper USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 20 Gbps and 2.5Gbps networking then this is one to check out.  If you do like to tweak, the 14+2+1 VRM design buried under hefty heatspreaders will not let you down.  The settings in the BIOS are quite comprehensive too, and all for around $230 US.
