Somber Echoes, DOOM Eternal, and more!
What does the bundle offer?
It’s the build-your-own Brutal bundle, and as the name suggests, it includes games that offer brutal combat and fast-paced action, featuring Doom Eternal no less. The best part is that it’s a build-your-own bundle. Thanks to this theme, you can only select the games you want and avoid paying for the ones you have already played or are simply not interested in.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that the bundle’s price will also depend on the number of games selected. If you pick between one and four games, each will cost $4.50. But if you select more than four, the price drops to $4 per game. This means that for all nine games, you’ll need to pay $36, which is a pretty solid deal.
In any case, here’s a complete list of games included in the Brutal bundle from Fanatical. There were two other games, but we didn’t include them on our list as their Steam Deck compatibility was Unknown.
Game | Steam Deck Compatibility |
---|---|
Somber Echoes | Playable |
Doom Eternal | Playable |
Butcher’s Creek | Playable |
Priest Simulator: Splendor Set | Unknown but reportedly playable |
Knights Within | Playable |
Exophobia | Verified |
Sacre Bleu | Verified |
Hedon: Extra Thicc Edition | Playable |
Turbo Kid | Verified |
Is the bundle worth getting?
This bundle is a great pick for anyone who loves action-packed games. For example, Doom Eternal lets you fight through hordes of deadly demons with a variety of powerful weapons. Doom Eternal is a great option for the Steam Deck, especially considering that the latest entry to the series, Doom: The Dark Ages, doesn’t run well on the Steam Deck. For that, we’d have to suggest using Nvidia’s GeForce Now App to stream the game to the handheld.
If you’re after something more unique, Priest Simulator offers a wild adventure where you play as a priest managing a church, but there’s a dark twist. Just remember, the bundle is only available for 30 days (from the time of writing), so don’t wait too long to grab your games.
