Apple Makes iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11 Public Betas Available

Apple has opened up its public beta program for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11, providing early access to the forthcoming software updates. These previews present a variety of new enhancements across Apple’s ecosystem. Enhanced Customization in iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 The iOS 18 beta now lets users arrange apps freely on their home screens, offering greater personalization. Additional updates include the ability to tint icons and widgets, a redesigned Photos app, and a more flexible Control Center featuring dark mode icons. iPadOS 18 includes many of these upgrades and introduces a built-in Calculator app, fulfilling a long-standing request from users. New Features in macOS Sequoia and watchOS 11 The macOS Sequoia beta brings new functionalities such as iPhone screen mirroring on a Mac, enhancing device integration. Meanwhile, watchOS 11 focuses on health, adding features like rest day tracking and the new Vitals app, which offers a summary of overnight health stats. Upcoming AI Enhancements and Device Compatibility Presently, the betas do not include Apple Intelligence AI features, but these are expected to arrive in updates later this fall. These AI capabilities will be available exclusively on the iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, and M1 or newer Macs and iPads. There is no information yet on AI enhancements for the Apple Watch.
