Everything’s Bigger On The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9

If you don’t mind the fact that many game developers are lazy when it comes to natively supporting ultrawide displays then the Odyssey OLED G9 from Samsung is something to keep your eye on.  It will cost you around $1800 to pick up, but it comes with enough features to justify that exceptional price.   The 49″, 20.3 lbs display offers a resolution of 5120 x 1440 and thanks to G-SYNC you can reach a 240Hz refresh rate with a , a 0.03ms response time.
TweakTown measured the display capable of covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut, 97% of Adobe RGB, and 98% of DCI-P so you could use this for productivity as well as gaming.  There is one choice Samsung made that might turn you off of the Odyssey OLED G9, the screen is not matte and you will see reflections if you are using it in a well lit room.
